Tok Sen is an extraordinary and very relaxing type of massage. With a wooden chisel and hammer, the abdomen as well as the muscles and tendons along energetic lines of the body (the so-called Sen lines) are worked on gently and rhythmically. By tapping the muscles along these lines and the resulting acoustics of tapping (tok), deeply relaxing vibrations are sent into the body. These vibrations reach the stressed and deeper muscles as well as the connective tissues and also enable blockages in the energy channels to be released. A Tok Sen massage begins with loosening up the abdomen and can then be applied to the whole body.
